Gladiators’ Sponsorship Win

MASSIVE rugby fan and Rees Developments Managing Director Vince Rees is extending sponsorship of his favourite sport to include rugby league team the Chester Gladiators.

The club based in Clifton Drive, Chester is now in its fifth season and Rees Developments’ support will help the club to provide a new strip and training kit as well as keeping membership fees down so as many people as possible can try the sport.

Gladiators Chairman Jim Green said: “This sponsorship makes a huge difference to us. Rugby League isn’t a well known sport around Chester and this type of support helps us enhance our reputation.”

Vince who also sponsors Ellesmere Port Rugby Club said: “Sport is so important, not just for fitness but also because it helps people learn to work as a team.  “It’s essential to support community teams to give as many people as as possible have a chance to enjoy sports and I hope the team has a really good season.”
