Rees Developments To Buy Christmas Dinner For Ten Elderly Residents
Here at Rees Developments we are hoping to make Christmas extra special for ten elderly local residents.
Directors Vince Rees and Graeme Smith have decided to cancel the firm’s Christmas party so they can give ten vulnerable people living alone in the Chester area a hearty Christmas meal at The Peacock Hotel in Boughton.
Encouraged by the message of this year’s John Lewis advert, which reminds us about those people living alone in the community, Vince and Graeme are keen to support local elderly people who won’t necessarily be looking forward to the forthcoming festivities.
If you know an elderly person who will be alone this Christmas – or indeed you are that person – we want to hear from you.
We are looking for ten local residents to benefit from a gesture of goodwill and will be inviting them to attend a three course Christmas dinner at The Peacock Hotel in Boughton, Chester.
Commenting on the company’s decision to help the vulnerable, Vince said: “We all get caught up with the excitement of Christmas and it is easy to forget those less fortunate than ourselves. Cancelling our Christmas party to help those in need was an easy decision to make and we are pleased to be able to support our local community.”
If you will be alone this Christmas or know someone in your area who could benefit from this gesture, please call Debbie Ludoski on 07572 691 685 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
