Project: One storey rear extension to create new dining kitchen and utility space

Home owner Sue Howell and husband David had lived in their detached home in Little Sutton for almost 30 years. Although space in the existing kitchen was adequate the couple dreamed of a modern and light dining kitchen.
From personal recommendation, Sue and David appointed Rees Developments in September 2010
to build and fit out a high-specification one story extension to the property.
Rees Developments extended the 9m length of the house’s rear by 3metres, creating a new utility room, along with a large, airy dining space. Natural light – along with access to the rear garden – was created with well-positioned double doors.
Rees Developments also re-fitted the existing kitchen and new utility room and provided electrics, plumbing, plastering and decoration.
Sue said: “We are absolutely delighted with our new extension, and with all the renovations – it’s like a completely new house! We were nervous at first because we hadn’t done much work here previously, and you hear so many horror stories about builders.
